cincinnati zoo and botanical gardens

Cincinnati ZooConsistently rated as one of the country's best zoos, Cincinnati Zoo hired PMG in January 2009 as its full-service marketing partner after an extensive review that included 9 local and regional agencies. PMG developed a strategic platform based on the fact that the Zoo is open 365 days per year...a fact that many parents often forget.

The multi-media advertising and promotion program was anchored by a 365-day digital outdoor campaign featuring new, call-to-action creative EACH day. The outdoor was augmented by a powerful radio DJ endorsement program featuring some of Cincinnati's most prominent "mom and dad" on-air personalities. The advertising program, combined with on-going events at the Zoo, has helped drive attendance for the first half of the year by more than 40%.

ae door & window co.

AE Door & Window Co.AE Door and Window was PMG's first client in 2001 and has grown into one of its largest clients over the course of their 8+ year relationship. PMG handles all aspects of AE's marketing, including dedicated programs against three different target groups: residential sales, service and commercial.

PMG has helped AE Door to maintain healthy year-to-year revenue growth and, despite one of the worst economic melt-downs in the country's history, October 2008 was the most successful month in AE’s history. PMG has also handled Public Relations duties for AE by leveraging the company's family and community ties.

barleycorn’s

Barleycorn'sCincinnati-based, family-dining restaurant Barleycorns hired PMG several years ago with a distinct challenge: grow dinner "guest counts" without sacrificing its core lunch audience. PMG recommended that Barleycorns move to a six-week cycle of changing its menu offers. The frequency and variety of offers has helped Barleycorn's two Cincinnati-area locations maintain healthy guest counts and revenue growth, even in the midst of an economic crisis that has severely curtailed consumers' dining habits. In fact, based on the success of the PMG-inspired strategies of recent years, Barleycorns has expanded its base with new restaurant openings in Dayton and, in the fall of 2010, Boone County, Kentucky.

we buy crappy cars.com

Bessler's Auto Parts and U Pull and Save have been PMG clients since 2007. Bessler's is one of the most successful businesses of its kind in the U.S. PMG has played an important role in crreating awareness of the Bessler's brand in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. In 2010, PMG helps expand Bessler's into Louisville.

One of the major challenges for Bessler's is car acquisition. To help address this challenge, PMG conceived of a sub-brand, We Buy Crappy Cars.com. The objective was to create a distinct, easy-to-remember entity that would attract consumers who are driving wrecked or salvaged cars and might be looking for cash. PMG developed a unique landing page for We Buy Crappy Cars.com that re-directs consumers to Bessler's main site.
