a few minutes with kim wiest-grosser

Cincinnati native, Kim Wiest-Grosser, founded Platinum Marketing Group (PMG) in 2001 after a successful career as one of the region's most respected media sales executives. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Kim began her media career as an intern for Cincinnati's "Big One" WLW Radio. She did a brief stint in TV sales with MY 64 before heading back to radio, with her first station WLW and then on to Cincinnati's Oldies station WGRR. Kim became General Sales Manager of WGRR in 1991 and led the station to consistent revenue growth.

As much as she loved media sales, Kim had an insatiable desire to create her own company, which led her to leave the security of a high-paying job at WGRR to start PMG in January 2001. One of the top advertising and promotion companies in the region, PMG has since expanded to include a dedicated graphics design unit, BlackDog Graphics and, as of January 2009, a dedicated media planning and buying division, BlackSkirt Media.
